WELCOME TO THE PILOT BOAT INN
Your hosts, Steve, Emma and their team, welcome you to The Pilot Boat Inn, a traditional Dorset pub set in the heart of the busy seaside town of Lyme Regis that is popular with locals and visitors alike.
After running several successful pubs for many years in Surrey, Steve and Emma worked at Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage for five years and combined these experiences to The George Inn at Chideock, winning many accolades and now they’ve brought this to The Pilot Boat.
Produce is bought daily depending on seasonality, from what is offered by nearby farms, caught in the sea, grown in the garden, foraged, shot or available at good local suppliers.
They take their drink seriously as well and in line with their ‘keep it local’ ethos, all of the cask ale is brewed by the award winning Palmers in Bridport brewery, just down the road. The wine list is well considered, sampling a good cross section of grape varieties that complement the menu.
